Vegetarian/Vegan Thanksgiving recipes?
I am a vegetarian and all of my family are big meat eaters. So I was wondering if anyone had any good recipes they could recommend to me

Vegans.I need some ideas for Christmas dinner this year?
I need a vegan recipe for Christmas dinner. I love to cook so…if it’s an all day thing..that’s fine. The recipes can’t contain anything like nutritional yeast though. I have to drive over 20 miles to get things like that so… Recipes with just normal regular ole fruits veggies and all are the only ones I can make. Sorry if that’s a big request. Do you have any ideas for me?

Every year, my family contributes to a holiday potluck at christmas and thanksgiving, and even at easter. i would like to make some really good food vegetarian/ vegan food for my family. Any suggestions?

Anyone have a good vegan recipe for traditional British Christmas cake?
Please don’t just give web links - I’d love to hear recipes you’ve tried and tested yourselves and can personally vouch are good.
NB British Christmas cake is a very heavy, very rich cake made with dried fruits, alcohol and spices, cooked for several hours at a very low heat, and has unreal keeping qualities - you can keep it for several years without it going bad. I’m open to anything similar.

Yeah, it isn’t that I haven’t been vegan long it is just I don’t really stay in contact with my family.
My aunt has vegan and vegetarian friends, so she’ll be cool but the others I KNOW think it id nuts.

What’s a good main course for vegan holiday meal?
My daughter has decided to go vegan (still eats dairy) and I’d like to have something on the table at Christmas that would be a “main” dish as opposed to her just eating the sides that come along with the roast.
