Vegan UK shortening substitute for icing cakes?

I just got Isa Moskowitz+ Terry romero’s cupcakes book, and I need a substitute for vegetable shortening that can be found in the UK and can be used to make icing. Will something like trex do?

anyone know of a vegan cookie, muffin, or cupcake recipe that uses blueberries, and/or coconut?

i have blueberries and shredded (unsweetened) coconut and i think they would taste yummy in muffins or something.. so i would really appreciate some help in finding a recipe that calls for one or both of these

I have no desire to become a vegan, but I sure like their brownies! My boyfriend thinks im a weirdo, do you?

Ok, so i’m going to make vegan banana bread from a recipe I found, but i’m wondering will it taste bad or bland without any butter? has anyone ever made this?

also, do other vegan recipes such as cupcakes and cookies taste good, bad, or strange?

and does anyone know of any good websites with good tasting vegan recipes?

what vegan food (baked sweets) can i bring to class tomorrow?. besides cookies :]?

i just made some peanutbutter cookies, but theres only 14.. so i want to bring something else. so if you have any cupcake or muffin recipes that are really easy (cause i still have to study for a final and get some sleep) that would be appreciated :]

um.. i thought it went without saying that the cookies i made were vegan. there werent any eggs in them
