I know there are many vegan cupcake spots in LA, but none in OC. I was wondering if anyone knew of a bakery or place that sold good vegan desserts (Au Lac, Whole Foods).
cakes, cupcakes, cookies… etc

I’m east coat so I can’t help much but I do know a place you can order from:
I’ve ordered from there before and it’s pretty good.
and vegan treats.. but they are in PA so I don’t know how far they would deliver.
If you’re ever in New York, hit up Foodswings. It’s a vegan restaurant I’ve worked at the past 2 years. We sell Vegan Treats desserts.
scan happy cow as well maybe:

ahhh…. vegan baked goods.
Well as a native to OC, NY. I can’t quite help you.
but I can tell you this…
my girlfriend is a vegan and LOVES, absolutely loves, cupcakes! She bought The Joy of Vegan Baking and her cupcakes were Blahhhh…. or more like muffins.
So I went on to amazon and found a book tittled
Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World!
Silly, huh? well turns out there are recipes for some of the greatest tasting vegan cupcakes I ate in my entire life.
The authors of Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World (VCTOTW, for short) are the same authors to The Veganomicon, one of the most popularized up and coming vegan cookbooks out there.
I’d thoroughly reccommend checking this book out and trying to bake your own vegan goodies. I mean I never have, and am a terrible baker, But my girlfriend is honestly amazing at vegan baked goods now, and she’s soo great at it that I plan on marrying her.
well goodluck

Well, you can go to or to see what if there is a bakery or place that has vegan desserts in the OC. I know that Sticky Fingers Bakery, based in Washington, DC, also delivers (hopefully they deliver the Jenny’s Brownies–those are the BEST!) some of their treats.

You might want to try out Native Foods at The CAMP. It’s a vegan cafe, so it might be a nice place to pick up a vegan cupcake. Of course, you can get a vegan lunch there too.
The CAMP is a cool place to visit overall, so you might want to take a look at it. Its just down the street from South Coast Plaza, and right across from The LAB.
Oh, and you might also want to try Mother’s Market in Costa Mesa. Last time I went they did have a lot of Vegan food there.
Have fun!
